I will pull it out and get pics added in the next couple days if anyone is interested

I would consider mods or L67 engines in partial trade btw

I have owned it since feb 2000 when it had 89k on it , today it has 243k and engine has never had a valve cover or timing cover removed its 100% orig and runs well

engine mods are few , K&N filter , helix bore tb spacer, Edelbrock carb certified tubular exhaust headers , magnaflow high flow cat ,flowmaster catback exhaust ( currently broken at catback flange but fixable)

transmission rebuilt approx 15k ago with upgraded bands & clutches mild shift kit at a cost of $1500

rear end rebuilt about 120k ago with an Eaton Limited slip ( posi) and Richmond 3.73 gears ( stock gearing)

truck has been semi retired as my daughter has been using it mostly to get back and forth to school but being a relatively new driver with a fairly large vehicle she has added to the bruises you would see on a 240k truck

it also has some minor rust issues but the undercairage looks like it will still be good for many years as most high miles vehicles they dont tend to rot because all the crap falls off when driven

the interior has some cosmetic issues also , the drivers seat looks like it has 240k its coming apart but is still comfortable , it has a crack in the dash also beyond that it still cleans up decent being leather

mechanically besides the broken exhaust it could use a new fuel filler since it leaks when fueling up unless you are real careful with nozzle placement.

also ac needs a recharge and it pops a service eng light from time to time - has for years but still drives fine.

truck is 2 tone maroon over silver and many on here have seen the truck over the years but since I purchased my 2500 hd I really dont need it and I have my daughter in a regal now so she can get 30mpg instead of 13-14 which is what the tahoe gets

the rearend & trans are easily worth more than I am asking for the vehicle but I dont really want to part it - it deserves to hit a quarter mil & beyond.....

it has a current sticker but will likely need tires to pass again

I can get pics of motor but it aint pretty - its old & crusty Laughing

keep up with the mechanicals and it has at least a couple years left before any rust has to be addressed to take a sticker , frame floors ,etc.. are in great shape

with the nice trans & rear end it would be great for someone who wants to make an off road beater and I still trust the engine - it has never given me a reason not to and has had amsoil in it most of its life

I see a reoccurring theme of Red car/gray rocker panels. Smile

Looks like a good deal for a winter beater for someone...
