So, I tried to do a wildcard search for the author "*" and got no results. I noticed that the 'view all posts within last day' shows the url:
http://www.nepontiac.org/forum/search.php?mode=results&search_author=*
which tells me it's also trying to do a wildcard search, maybe it's the wrong wildcard term? Or I thought I saw a setting somewhere in my PHP setup files that wildcard searching could be enabled or disabled... That's my best guess right now.
c'mon John, you going to make me figure this out?
no worries, just curious why it doesn't work is all...

here's another BUMP, since this morning's crash altered my user login info, and I lost my search.

sometimes clearing your cookies fixes this... i have had that problem before.
